In a recent interview with Mungai Eve, Maria Wavinya, the wife of businessman Khalif Kairo, shared insights into her life prior to their whirlwind romance.

During her time as an influencer, she worked closely with the couple known as Mr. Wang, embarking on numerous trips, including spontaneous journeys to South Africa and other destinations.
Reflecting on her past, Maria stated,
“We did a lot of traveling. I would wake up, and Mr. Wang would be like, ‘Pack your bags, we’re going to South Africa.’ I was studying online while working as an influencer and content creator, but I’ve since retired from content creation.”
Khalif Kairo, who recently made headlines by revealing his legal marriage to Maria just four months after they met, expressed his reasons for such a swift commitment.
Having experienced toxic relationships in the past, Khalif noted that maturity has reshaped his perspective on love and family.
“When you meet a woman who shares the same mindset and principles—someone who wants to raise your children—you don’t waste time. You just go for it,” he shared, highlighting the strong connection he feels with Maria Wavinya.
