Dr Dan Gikonyo has confirmed that deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has been admitted at Karen Hospital.

“….DP Gachagua came with a lot of chest pains. He is undergoing various investigations but right now he is stable, the pain is less” Dr Dan Gikonyo told the press.
Flanked by the DP’s sons, Dr Gikonyo said that the high profile patient will be admitted for atleast three days to observe him.
He pointed out that stress could have been a contributing factor to his current condition.
“Stress can cause heart problems and the DP is definitely in a lot of stress. He needs to be observed between 48-72hrs minimum“, the cardiologist shared.
