Bonfire Adventures founder Simon Kabu celebrated his daughter Maurine Kabu as she turned a year older, expressing his pride in her, and asking her to be a good example for her younger siblings to emulate.
He took to his Facebook account to wish her well in her forthcoming year as she enjoyed her birthday on a tour to South Africa.
“My daughter Maurine Kabu, As you get a year older, just know that your Daddy and #thekabus cubs love you very much and may your wishes be fulfilled. We are so proud of you and kindly continue guiding your younger siblings on how to be a God-fearing girl. Enjoy your holiday in #capetown,” he wrote.
Maurine was plunged into the limelight after Sarah Kabu exposed her husband for having two baby mamas in 2021.
The Bonfire CEO was propelled to admit the existence of the then 24-year-old he had sired out of wedlock.
“He had another relationship and he got a daughter, he had another relationship with someone else and they had a son,” Sarah narrated.
Sarah has admitted that she was not for Kabu bringing Maurine around her two young children, but fully supports that he observes his fatherly duties without her involvement.
“He had decided to bring one of the children into our family and I refused. I asked him to give them all the support they need since I only needed my neat family.” she maintained.
The father and daughter are quite the duo, sharing photos of themselves in matching outfits while travelling the world together.
