Kebaso mentioned that he was having a TV interview at K24 TV when he got information that the officers were waiting for him outside the building.
However, he says he was able to evade the arrest and board a matatu to his next destination, and even took a moment to speak to commuters.
“Before I left K24 I was sent a DM that DCI was waiting in a pickup next to my car. I decided to take a different exit & boarded a matatu. In the matatu, the public demanded that I address them. I injected sense. Civic Education,” he wrote on X.
In a separate post, Kebaso noted that it was about time all the young people come together and demand better leadership.
“The youth of Kenya are not clueless about the solutions we need for our nation. Wametuibia sasa wanatukimbiza wakisema mwizi! mwizi! Diverting our attention from the real thieves who have plundered and pludgeoned our nation. Bure kabisa,” he added.
As earlier reported on EAFeed, Kebaso claimed that state agencies have been targeting him for making videos imitating Ruto and criticising the government.
For instance, in one viral video, the called on the young people to show up in large numbers for protests set for August 8.
Now, days after sharing this video and others, Kebaso says Nairobi County and Lenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officials visited him on Wednesday.
In an update on his X account, he also noted that he fears that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is also after him.
“I know I look fine. But I’m not okay. The gov’t has been on my neck and in my business vibaya sana. Today at around 2 PM I was visited by KRA. Soon thereafter Nairobi County came. I expect DCI tonight. Come one come all. I’m fearless,” he wrote on X.
