The units also have a common bathroom and a large utility area.
Additionally, the apartments have other amenities including ample parking spaces and round-the clock security.
The apartment complex is surrounded by a perimeter wall fitted with an electric fence, while the driveways have cabros.
360° Apartments is located just 5 kilometres from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), and 20 kilometres from the Nairobi Central Bussinnes District.
The apartments have however been mired in controversy since its establishment.
During his time as Machakos Governor, Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua claimed that the apartments were built on riparian land.
From time to time, residents have faced a perennial flooding problem whenever there is heavy downpour.
For instance, in February 2021, residents of the apartments were woken up by razing floods after storm waters submerged over 200 apartments.
The houses affected included both two and three bedrooms.
In 2012, neighbours said they moved to court in a protest demanding that the houses’ construction be stopped since they were being erected on riparian land.
According to documents, The Machakos High Court in 2015 ruled in the complainants’ favour.
Justice L.N Mutende ordered that the construction of more units, Blocks 15 and 18 within the 360 Degrees estate be stopped and the investor to modify a perimeter wall adjacent to the neighbouring residents to allow for the free flow of stormwater for effective drainage.
