“We did it! I am beyond thrilled and deeply humbled to announce that our YouTube family has grown to 100,000 subscribers! This incredible milestone wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you. Your support, love, and enthusiasm fuel my passion and motivate me daily.” Kitui expressed his gratitude on Facebook.
Kitui’s who journey has been marked by great milestones, gained recognition in 2016 at the RIGA awards in Johannesburg, South Africa where he was named the male artist of the year in the traditional Gospel category.
Reflecting on this life-changing decision, Kitui noted that it was the best he ever made.
His influence extends beyond the confines of traditional venues; Kitui performs in churches, stadiums, social events, bars, and clubs.
When asked why he chooses such diverse venues, Pastor Kitui explained, “The ‘go ye’ message is not for the church but for the world. If they don’t come to us, we will go to them. Zacchaeus did not come to Church; Christ went to his house.”
Kitui currently resides in the USA and recently hosted a mega concert in Boston, Massachusetts, featuring fellow gospel artists Evelyn Wanjiru and Gloria Muliro.
Over the years, he has not only set the pace for traditional music production but also influenced the Luhya community to embrace their authentic music, costumes, and songwriting.
