While Moraa has not spoken about the claims, she sent out an appeal to Kenyans to help her raise funds for her daughter’s burial.
Elsewhere, in a past video, Moraa opened up about her marriage life which she first encountered at a young age after her first husband, Blak Aende, eloped with her just after high school.
She later got married to former rugby player and coach of the Kenya sevens rugby team, Benjamin Ayimba, who sadly passed away in May 2021.
In this article, EAFeed looks at Moraa’s relationship to both Blak and Ayimba.
Nyaboke Moraa’s marriage to Blak Aende
Moraa got married to Blak immediately after completing high school.
In a previous interview, the actress shared that she had already thought of getting married to Blak by the time she was going through school.
This explains her decision to get married immediately after completing her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Schools Education (KCSE).
“We started dating in high school but he was working at the time. When leaving high school on the last day I had planned on living my school box behind as I had planned on going to get married
“My plan did not go as planned as I saw my sister waiting for me so I went back and wore my uniform. Immediately we reached home I changed and went to my boyfriend’s place, I disappeared and got married around 2003/2004,” she said.
Moraa and Blak were married for a period of time and even had two children, Marie and Ethan, before ending the marriage due to insecurities.
“We both had our mistakes but the industry also started giving him insecurities. Sh*t happens but we are co-parenting our two kids, he is a very wonderful husband,” she added.
Nyaboke Moraa’s relationship to Benjamin Ayimba
Following her break up with Blak, Moraa later met with Ayimba and got married although the former rugby voach already had a family.
In an interview with Massawe Jappani, the actress said she met Ayimba weeks after she divorced her first husband.
They fell in love and lived together for eight years before they separated in 2018 with two kids together.
“He made advances and I initially refused since I had separated with my first baby daddy,” she said.
Moraa said she thought she was his second wife but it turned out she was wife number three.
“He has about ten children with different women. Our love was okay but we had several challenges and after eight years, around 2018, we went separate ways,” she said.
Following Ayimba’s death, Moraa took to social media to express her sad feelings.
In an Instagram post she shared an old photo of herself hugging the late coach during their happy days and captioned it with a heartfelt tribute.
“‘I am angry because I can’t slap you back to reality, I am sad because I don’t know what I am going to tell your boys because they know you went to work far away and will come back one day,” she wrote.
However, what followed was a dramatic burial after Moraa and her two sons from her marriage to Ayimba were barred from his burial.
“There were 30 policemen at the compound during the burial. They asked me what I was doing there. I said I had brought my kids to say bye to their dad. You know my kids had kept on asking me if we will be going to church to see daddy
“After pushing and shoving at the gate, the cops allowed us in. I went to the tent, I was too weak at the time. Some people were saying I was the one who killed him. The police were told I was coming to cause chaos, yet there was no money to fight for,” she said.
