Just days after announcing actress Moraa Nyaboke’s daughter’s death, actress Sandra Dacha has shared her funeral preparations, which will take place in Kisumu.
In an update on Facebook on July 30, she announced that Marrie will be laid to rest on August 10, 2024, in Kadongo, Kisumu County. READ FULL STORY
Sandra also made a public plea for financial aid to enable Moraa and her ex-husband properly send off their daughter.
She provided the account number and paybill information for contributions, inviting everyone to help the sad family.
“Dear loved ones, let’s come together to help Gloria Anazidi Kuiva Moraa and Aende Blak give their daughter Marrie a befitting send-off. We appeal for your financial support to make the ceremony a success
“Marrie will be laid to rest on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Kadongo, Kisumu County. Kindly channel your support to: PAYBILL No: 8023781, ACCOUNT No: Your name,” she said.
Marrie’s death brings the number of family members that Moraa has lost in the recent years to four.
The actress first lost her niece, followed by her grandmother, the her brother who died suddenly while headed home for a family reunion and now her daughter.
While the cause of their deaths are not publicly known, Moraa expressed frustrations while mourning her late brother.
In an Instagram post, she disclosed that her brother died suddenly ahead of a planned family reunion, however not disclosing his cause of death.
“One minute we are happy and enjoying, the next minute we are lost. Nyariki family has been struck yet again. We have lost our big brother. Waited for you to come for our reunion but you missed your flight. Now we are mourning your sudden death… Hizi sasa hata ni gani hazielewekii,” she wrote on Instagram.
In December 2023, Moraa also mourned her niece, terming her death as sudden and unbelievable.
“My family is mourning. A beautiful flower has been plucked from us. My beautiful niece has gone to be with the Lord. May God give my family strength. I have no words for my baby sister for losing her beautiful daughter
“It is not well haki. This hurts so bad,like a knife through the heart. It is very sudden, it is unbelievable. Please pray for us,pray for my small sister. It is not well,” she wrote.
