Bishop David Muriithi Education Background

The man of God attended his educational training at local primary and secondary schools in the region. Bishop Muriithi then, later on, joined Theology school in preparation for his journey as a pastor and later to other positions.

He began as a pastor and after some years was ordained as the Bishop of House of Grace Megachurch. The church is situated along Lang’ata Road and according to the plaintiff June Mtave, the Bishop lives a high-end life.

The bishop came to the limelight after he was sued by a past lover with whom he had sired a son in 2019. She complained that since their two-year-old son was born, she had been forced to bear the entire parental responsibility. Bishop David Muriithi is said to have been initially supportive of the lady and her son but upon birth, he deserted them.

June Mtave along with her lawyer Omari Danstan moved to court seeking child support of Ksh 100,000 from the Bishop. In defending her plight, June said that she had often asked for his support yet he shut her down claiming that as a bishop, he was not a salaried man.

The case outlined that she needed money for her son’s education at Kiota School, a househelp, shopping, food, entertainment, utilities, toys, salon, house rent, and clothing. These amounted to a Ksh 100,000 figure presented in court seeking procession. The case is set to be heard on 25th August 2021.

After the filing, she claimed that her life was in danger as unknown individuals were seen around her Kilimani residence who persistently knocked on her door/
