Brian Mwenda Njahi is a ‘fake’ Kenyan lawyer who recently went viral. He is accused of forgery as he impersonated another person under the same name so as to practice in Kenyan courts.
Among the stories that went viral from this saga is that Brian Mwenda was able to argue 26 cases in court, winning all. Many have shared their concerns online, others branding Brian Mwenda a hero.

Brian Mwenda started his primary education in Kajiunduthi primary school southern Meru according his father who spoke to Pashwa TV. He later transferred to Murang’a Primary School Boarding in class five where he completed his primary school education.
For his high school education, Brian Mwenda joined Kiriaini boys before moving to Nairobi to study a diploma in criminal law. In 2017, he joined Strathmore University and later graduated in 2020. He then went to Kenya School of Law where he attended up until December, 2022.
His career in Law begun in January, when he represented a family member in a case that ended up not being heard in court. He has been practicing in Nairobi since. According to his father, Brian is a lawyer, and he was shocked when he told him that he was being accused of faking an identity as a lawyer.
“He has been to school and he graduated and for sure he graduated”, Brian Mwenda’s father shared.
There is not musch disclosed about Brian Mwenda’s family. However, in a recent interview with Pashwa TV, Brian Mwenda’s father assured that his son is an educated lawyer who passed the bar and should be favored by the court.
