Early education
Kebaso’s educational journey began at a local primary school in Kisii County, where he excelled academically despite facing challenges in his upbringing.
He was raised by his aunt while his mother completed her education, demonstrating resilience and determination from a young age.
After primary school, Morara attended Maseno School, a prestigious secondary institution in Kenya.
At Maseno, his talents in drama and music were recognized, and he became actively involved in student leadership and activism.
However, Morara’s strong-willed nature and disagreements with school authorities over issues such as the treatment of prefects led to his expulsion from Maseno School at one point.
Despite this setback, he later returned to complete his secondary education at St. Francis Gekendo Secondary School where he was the first student to score an A.
Higher education
Kebaso went on to study law at Kenyatta University, where he earned his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from 2014 to 2018.
He further specialized in corporate, tax, and investment law, and is also a Certified Investment and Financial Analyst.
Kebaso’s academic involvement included significant roles in student governance, notably as the Opposition Leader for the Kenyatta University Students Association, advocating for student rights and welfare.
