According to McOure, he enjoyed his stay at Alliance High School, however, stating that it was hard for him because he wanted to explore the world.
It it this that made him sneak from school a number of times which mostly resulted to a suspension but at one point the school had to let him go.
McOure said he was suspended a record five times before he was eventually expelled from the school.
“I went to the Alliance High School please and it was a beautiful place to be but as a young boy it was hard for me because I was one of those really creative people and I wanted to explore the world and I went on about five suspensions and I think the sixth one was an indefinite suspension,” he said.
Following his expulsion from Alliance High School, McOure went on to enroll at Maranda High School where he sat for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary School Education (KCSE).
Rise to fame
Not much was known about McOure until last month when he turned up for the anti-government protests led by the Gen-Z’s.
He caught the attention of many social media users thanks to his dress code and articulation of his points during media interviews.
McOure also gained massive support from members of the public, particularly the young people after claiming that he had received threats to his life.
In an update on his X account on July 18, he said he was heading to the Directorate of criminal Investigations (DCI) to seek safety and security.
McOure did not provide specific details about the nature of the threats or sources but emphasized the seriousness of the situation.
“I’m not safe. I’ve received credible threats to my life. Heading to DCI Kenya right now,” read part of the statement.
Later, McOure noted that he was in the company of his friends, and they had camped at Muthaiga Police Station since they could not access the DCI headquarters at night.
He added that they had proceeded to Central police station to record a statement and would update on progress.
“I’ve recorded the statement and if they don’t allow us to camp here, I’ll go into hiding and will update accordingly. Please pray for me and keep the faith,” he stated.
