Pritty Vishy responded on her Instagram account, asserting that she would not accept Kiengei’s written apology.
She emphasized her demand for a video apology, similar to the manner in which Kiengei had previously produced a disrespectful video.
“When you opened your mouth to insult me, did you send your assistant or did they write the lines for you? If you want to talk to me, speak to me directly, and before that, I don’t want a written apology; I want a video
“Just as you sat down and made a disrespectful video, do the same when apologizing… Don’t send people to me because they didn’t help you laugh, or did they help you open your mouth? Respect yourself,” she wrote.
Pritty Vishy further noted that her complaints were not yet concluded, despite the Bishop’s removal of the video; she retained a copy of it.
“To those who were sending messages saying their Bishop was just joking, why did he delete the video? I thought we were all joking, right? I have the video, and everyone else does too. I’m not done yet,” she added.
Pritty Vishy ultimately expressed that she had not accepted the apology.
She raised questions regarding Kiengei’s intentions, inquiring whether his apology was prompted by her decision to speak out and why he chose to delete the video if he believed he had done nothing wrong.
“OUR BISHOP’ @bishopbenjcchurch, your apology is not accepted. If you didn’t do anything wrong, why did you delete the video? You apologized because I spoke up, didn’t you? Your apology is not accepted, so let the struggle continue,” she concluded.
As earlier reported on EAFeed, Kiengei faced backlash due to his contentious remarks regarding content creator Pritty Vishy during a recent interview.
This incident took place during a discussion on a local broadcasting station, where Bishop Kiengei made negative observations about Pritty Vishy’s looks.
A video segment circulated by Pritty Vishy and others on social media features Kiengei stating that Pritty Vishy lacks attractiveness.
“Pritty Vishy was preying on Stevo Simple Boy’s fame. Anataka kujulikana lakini kwa kunona. Si mrembo, hawezi kuimba, ama kuact… Pritty Vishy naye ni kunona tu. She’s not appealing,” he said.
The video rapidly gained traction, attracting significant attention on TikTok and various other platforms.
Among those who openly denounced the bishop’s remarks was rapper Femi One, who shared the video and criticized Kiengei’s behavior.
As the criticism grew, Bishop Kiengei, who had previously served as an ordained priest at AIPCA church before establishing his own church, JCM, in Kamakis, Ruiru, Kiambu County, felt it necessary to apologize to Pritty Vishy.
In his statement, Kiengei conveyed profound regret and assured that such an occurrence would not take place again.
“Pritty Vishy, I am really sorry and I take this moment to highly apologise for mentioning your name in a show where I went overboard and mentioned you in the wrong way
“Get a space in your heart to forgive me for addressing you in a wrong way. This will never happen in the future, I take it as my mistake. Pole my sister na karibu sana JCM Church, kanisa la watu wote,” he wrote on Facebook.
