New reports have put Transport Cabinet Secretary (CS) Davis Chirchir at the center of a Ksh 20 million vehicle recently imported into the country.
In an update on X, formerly Twitter, blogger Cyprian Nyakundi claimed that the CS imported the Mercedes-Benz G-Class G 400 d AMG Line for her daughter. READ FULL STORY
The blogger further shared videos from the Port of Mombasa showing port officials unpacking the vehicle from the transit container.
Nyakundi claimed that the CS had imported two vehicles, an LX600 and a BMW X5 before importing the Mercedes G-Wagon.
“Transport CS Davis Chirchir imported an LX600 and a BMW X5 for his daughter last year. This year, he’s added a G-Wagon worth around Ksh. 20 million to the collection, which arrived just about a week ago. How agencies like DCI, EACC and NIS miss this shocks me,” Nyakundi wrote on X.
