The discussion took a humorous twist when Mutua posed a hypothetical scenario, inquiring whether his wife would contemplate having another baby if presented with a substantial financial incentive.
The couple, celebrated for their lighthearted exchanges, continued to explore the topic, with Mutua playfully suggesting a fictional sum of Ksh 100 million as motivation.
“If you had Sh100 million on the table, would you agree to have another child?” Mutua enquired.
Nyawira’s answered, “To be honest, I wouldn’t.” I’m afraid I can’t. “I think that’s a chapter I’ve closed, and I don’t think money can change it.”
Mutua increased the sum to Ksh 200 million in an attempt to persuade his wife, but Nyawira remained resolute in her choice.
“My answer’s still no. I know it sounds like ‘but you don’t have the money to raise him’, but that’s not what this is about. Yes, I have money at the moment, but I’m not sure that’s the issue.”
Elsewhere, Mutua has praised his wife for being his greatest support system, saying his wife has been the reason behind his hardwork.
“Judy is the fuel that propels me to greatness. It is not something that she started recently, she has been that person since 2008 when we met
“Every situation we have been in together has been a reason for me to grind even harder. All thanks to her,” he said.
Mutua said he constantly reminds his wife that if it were not for her he would be nothing.
“I would be very useless without her. She has made sure that I am always on course. I would not even sit on the couch I am sitting on now,” he added.
He said Nyawira has always reminded him that life is not always smooth-sailing. Anytime he feels like giving up he remembers Nyawira’s wise counsel in order to remain focused.
Mutua said Nyawira would tell him that whatever happens to them, they are in it together 100 percent.
“I’d die for this woman any day because I know where I would have been without her. Even when I am broke she will ask me to let her handle everything,” he said.
Mutua pointed out that he would have lost hope in life and indulge into substance abuse if not for his caring wife.
“She always reminds me that at the end of the day I have a bigger goal and its not all about being on TV. Its about what you want to do with your life, I would be worthless,” he said.
