Anne Nduta Kiguta is a Kenyan renown media personality. She has a vast experience in working with various giant media companies such as Royal Media services and Standard Group in Kenya.

The news anchor is 36 years old as of the year 2020. She was born and brought up in Nairobi in a staunch Christian doctrine in the year 1984. At one instance in life, she spent part of her early life in Buru Buru and Kilimani.

She is the last born in a family of four siblings of which all are girls. Anne terms her father as a good role model who played a big role in her upkeep. As an accountant by profession, her father instilled in her virtues such as hard worth and proper job ethics.

Anne was admitted to St. Christopher’s Preparatory Primary School and later joined Nairobi’s Rusinga School for her secondary school education.  Anne did perform well in her high school education and later joined Daystar University for her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Mass Media.

At the age of 18 before she cleared campus, Anne attended an interview at the radio station which had been started by a local church. She was considered for employment. This acquainted her with enough experience in broadcast journalism.

She later joined Hope FM where she worked as a show host and producer of Plug in and The Top 40 Countdown show. When on holidays, she could intern at Hope FM by covering the stories about the local crime. This further gave him experience and she developed passion for journalism.

She was later assigned the task to anchor the news bulletin on the breakfast and mid-morning segments. She was also tasked as the captain behind other entertainment shows on Friday and Saturdays in the same station. Anne served at Hope FM for 3 years (from 2003 to 2006).

Just as a normal human being would do, she decided to search for greener pastures and therefore went to Capital FM, where she was tasked with the responsibility of a senior anchor and news reporter before she made her appearance to the television stations. In October the year 2012, Anne joined Royal Media Services as the digital manager and senior anchor.

She currently hosts and produces Sunday prime time news at K24 television. Other than featuring interviews with local and international news and policy makers, the show covers Kenyan and African political and economic policy issues.

On her show at K24 TV, Anne Kiguta has hosted both local and international icons including; Kenyan Governors, Members of County Assembly, Members of Parliament, the curent Deputy President of Kenya Dr William Samoei Ruto, UN Women Kenya Country Director Anna Mutavati, Kenya’s Defense Secretary Dr Monica Juma, UNCTAD Secretary General Dr Mukhisa Kituyi and UN Women Kenya Country Director Anna Mutavati.

Kiguta was engaged to Steve Ngunyi – a marketing and advertising expert in early 2014. The got engaged in a traditional wedding, waiting to finalize their union it in a colorful church wedding before thing fell apart. Their church wedding was to take place in early 2014.
