Mary attended schools in Central Kenya for her formative years and proceeded to high school for her last step before she went into police training. She made her application, and luckily, Mary Wanunu was successful and got placement in the training center at Kiganjo. She underwent all the necessary training and was soon graduating and ready to serve the people of Kenya.

The police officer who has now been tagged as making men have sleepless nights is based in the Kiambu Prisons where she works as a prison warden. Despite the notion that Kenyan men and women in the uniform are rogue and highly inhuman, there are a few that do not conform to that box. She is one of those. Despite not joking around with her work, she is a friendly cop and is needless to say, adored by many.
Her superiors describe her as a hardworking individual who always delivers her roles very professionally.

Mary Wanunu Personal Life
Mary revealed that she loves being a police officer because of the respect accorded when she is in the uniform. She enjoys the job and foresees greater advancements in her career in the industry. After she made it into the limelight online, she said that men had been flocking her Facebook direct messages and inbox asking for her hand in a relationship. She however turned them all down as she says her focus is set on her work.
She lives on the outskirts of Nairobi and enjoys taking photographs that she shares with her followers on Facebook.
