Wanjala’s victims included kids he used to play football with and from whose families he had demanded a ransom. One such family from Kajiado had lost their child to Wanjala’s hands. This was despite attempts to collaborate with the killers by sending more than Ksh 2,800 in a demanded ransom of Ksh 30,000.
