Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA) is the Kenya Revenue Authority’s premier training school specializing in Tax and Customs Administration, Fiscal Policy and Management. The School is one of the only four World Customs Organization (WCO) accredited Regional Training Centres (RTCs) in Eastern and Southern Africa.
KESRA Application procedure
For one to secure a slot in the KESRA eAcademy, one must fill out an application form provided in the official website. The eAcademy offers certificate and diploma courses which one can enroll for. To log in to the eAcademy, one uses their approved emails as usernames and a password for security.
KESRA Certificate Programs Requirements, Fees and Duration
The platform offers two certificate programs – Certificate in Custom and Certificate in Tax which can be studied online. To successfully enroll for either certificate, one must have a minimum of C- in their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination and a minimum D+ grade in English and Mathematics.

The certificate programs take a period of six months with candidates being expected to pay Ksh 144,000 – paying Ksh 8,000 for each of the eighteen units covered in each certificate program.
KESRA Diploma Programs Requirements, Fees Structure and Duration
KESRA offers diploma programs on its online academy whereby two paths are offered – Diploma in Customs and Diploma in Tax. These programs require a minimum KCSE grade of C and for English and Mathematics, a minimum grade of C-.
The diploma programs cost Ksh 84,000 stretching for a one-year period – paying Ksh 7,000 for each of the twelve units offered.
KESRA Program Intakes 2021
The eAcademy runs concurrently with the physical learning school calendar thus one can apply for intakes in September, May and January of every year.
KESRA Online learning dynamics
For the KESRA eAcademy, learners have the liberty to decide when to attend their classes but however remain in line with the deadlines set especially for examinations.
