Zippy Nzisa Musyimi Education Background

She studied Political Science at the University of Nairobi between 1984 and 1987 then proceeded to the United States International University for her graduate degree, a Master of Science in Organizational Development. Additionally, Zippy Musyimi is a past participant in a Pan-African Study and Research on Terrorism in Countering Violence Extremism in Africa.

Zippy Nzisa Musyimi Career Journey

Musyimi led Powerhouse Insurance Agency Limited between 2006 and 2012 steering the company to new heights of success in their annual turnovers. In the next 6 years, she was the General Manager and Principal Officer at AA Brokers Insurance Agency. She then proceeded to the Patriotic Group of Companies serving as the Managing Director for two years. As of 2021, she is a founder of a company called Powerhouse and works as a Regional/Country Director at the African Centre for Empowerment Gender and Advocacy. 

Apart from these, she is an experienced Mediator, promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms. Musyimi is also skilled in board management and advisory, organizational development, administration, and operations management skills. Not only these but also in security consultancy, public service skills, designing and executing change management campaigns.
