Mobile banking is getting to be fully adopted by most countries. In Kenya, bank PayBill Numbers provided by Mpesa and USSD Codes have made it possible. It is now easy to transfer funds across Mpesa and your respective bank accounts. Long gone are the days when people used to queue in the banking halls and wait to be served.

Use of USSD Safaricom codes and use of PayBill numbers provided by your respective banks plays an important role when it comes to mobile banking. This has led to convenience in carrying out various bank transactions without having to travel. To use the USSD mobile service, you have to register with you bank.

On having an account with the bank of your choice, there is a specific short code provided that you have to dial, follow the prompts and manage you bank account at the comfort of your house, office, hotel room or anywhere else.

The code can also enable you to transfer funds to and from your Mpesa line without any hustle just by dialing and following prompts. Some banks such as KCB, Equity, Co-operative Bank and many more have mobile apps that you have to install to your smartphone devices and manage your bank accounts.

Bank Mpesa PayBill numbers are also very important especially when it comes to depositing funds directly to your respective accounts without the need to go to the bank. All you need to have is your account number and the respective PayBill number of your favorite bank.
