Betty Mutei Kyallo is a renown Kenyan television personality and news anchor. She currently anchors the 9:00pm news bulletin at Media Max Network on K24 TV.

Betty Kyallo is 31 years old as of the year 2020. She was born (1989) and brought up in Kajiado County’s Ongata Rongai estate and Kahawa West Estate in Nairobi. Betty was born in a family of four of which three are girls and one is a boy. She is a second born in her family and the eldest among girls (Mercy Kyallo and Gloria Kyallo). Her parents parted ways when Betty was at a tender age. The three (Betty and three other siblings) were brought up by a single mother. The oldest sibling in Betty’s family is a boy.

Betty the news anchor attended Olerai Primary School in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County and Uhuru Gardens Primary School, Langata constituency in Mugumoini. After doing well in her primary school education, she joined Kangundo Girls High School in 2003. She later joined Daystar University for a degree course in Communication.
During her studies in college, Betty joined Kenya Television Net Work (KTN) as an intern. Her good work pleased the management and she was later absorbed as a news anchor where she used to anchor the 9:00pm news segment The Friday Briefing on Fridays. On her segment, she could feature various local and international guests whom she could interview and later allow them to take the audience for a break. She has invited guests such as the famous Nigerian musician Patoranking, Jua Kali among others.
Betty also had a special segment where she could invite Willis Ochieng the Vocabulary Guru. Her news segment grew rapidly and garnered huge viewership. It was on KTN that Betty Kyallo met Okari Dennis who was also in the newsroom.

She later resigned from KTN, made a comeback after a while and joined Media Max Net Work where she anchors the 9:00pm news bulletin. She also has a special segment in her bulletin ‘Weekend with Betty’ and ‘Up close with Betty’ in which she hangs out with famous people and celebrities -a show that that is rapidly gaining popularity.
Betty Kyallo Wedding, Husband, Dennis Okari
Betty Kyallo and Dennis Okari legalized their marriage publicly in a colorful wedding. The ceremony took place on 2nd October, 2015 at Marula Manor in Karen, Nairobi. Betty and Dennis had dated for six years before they officially engaged in a wedding that saw hundreds of guests. The ceremony was attended by mostly media personalities, top businessmen and other celebrities. Vehicles which were used by the couple during the ceremony were provided by RMA Motors. The vehicles included Jaguar XJ and XF.
Betty and Dennis met when they were working at Standard Media Services at KTN. On an interview in one of the reputed media houses, Betty confirmed that she was the first one who showed interest in Okari’s love and therefore was the first one to make a move. This happened severally despite the fact that Okari ignored her at once.
Betty Kyallo Marriage life, Divorce and Separation
Several months the colorful wedding, their marriage did not last for long. They separated on grounds of what was termed as ‘infidelity’ and other ‘irreconcilable differences’. Allegedly, Dennis is a womanizer and apparently has a bad history with women in his dating life. When Betty and Dennis were dating, Betty once met him in a compromising situation with a colleague who was also a TV host in their house.

Betty Kyallo and Dennis Okari Daughter Ivanna
In their dating journey, Betty and Dennis brought forth a beautiful baby girl by the name Ivanna. Despite their differences, Dennis still supports betty and the daughter financially. Late in the year 2019, Ivanna got seriously sick, a condition that worried betty and her family so much especially when she was in a deadly condition in ICU. Dennis decided to offer support by settling the hospital bills for her discharge.
Betty Kyallo and Ali Hassan Joho
Immediately after partying ways with Dennis Okari, Betty and Governor 001 were involved in a romantic affair. Allegedly, the two could be seen chilling on beaches and expensive hotels. Joho even gifted Betty with a house along Lenana Road in Nairobi’s Kilimani area and a BMW X6 and a Porsche Cayenne, besides a monthly upkeep. The governor even opened a business that deal’s in leather products for Betty’s sister, Mercy Kyallo.
Rumors had it that the two later parted ways due to Betty’s endless and insatiable demands. Joho later repossessed everything that he had gifted the news anchor leaving her with nothing. The house that she had been gifted with was easily repossessed because it was under the Governor 001’s name.

Betty Kyallo won the 2017 SOMA Awards as the Media Personality of the Year. By then, she was a TV anchor at Standard Media Group on KTN’s Friday Briefing before she resigned.
