Zari Hassan Age, Parents and Place of Birth
Zari Hassan is 40 years old as of the year 2020. She was born on 23rd September in the year 1980 grew up in Jinja. Zari’s parents baptized her with the name Zarinah Hassan.
Zari’s heritage is complicated; her maternal grandfather is Indian, and her maternal grandmother is Ugandan. The maternal grandmother to Zari has a Burundian origin.
She was brought forth by Nasur Hassan and Halima Hassan. Zari lost her mother due to heart related disease back in 2017. She was born in a family of two other sibling; Zuleha Hassan and Zara Hassan.

Zari Hassan Husband and Current Boyfriend
Zari was engaged and got married to Ivan Ssemwanga (a popular Ugandan philanthropic tycoon and billionaire in East Africa) back in 2004. Ssemwanga had businesses in better parts of East Africa and south Africa. They lived together for a period of 12 years and brought forth three children; Pinto, Quincy and Didy.

The two got divorced in 2012 due to physical abuse allegations that were raised by Zari. In 2017, Ssemwanga was attacked by a massive stroke and got admitted to Steve Biko Academic Hospital where he succumbed to death on 25th May 2017.
After Ssemwanga’s burial ceremony in Uganda, Zari flew back to South Africa to continue with her usual businesses and to take care of her late ex-husband’s investments.

In 2014, Diamond Platinumz (Naseeb Abdul Juma) and Zari Hassan entered into a romantic relationship. They brought forth a beautiful daughter known as Latifah Dangote on 6th August 2015 and a son Prince Nillan on 6th December 2016.
Due to family concerns on whether Tiffah is Diamond’s biological daughter and Diamond’s cheating scandals with Hamisa Mobetto, the two lover birds had to part ways.
