The Queen is a South-African telenovela that first aired on Mzansi Magic on 1st August, 2016. The plot spins around the Khoza family, the drug lords that work for them in the family’s logistics company and them not seeing eye to eye with their competitors as well as the Tembisa Police Service.

The executive producers of the show were Connie Ferguson and Shona Ferguson and the producers were Lauren Neil and Amanda Quwe with Ferguson Films being the production company. The country of Origin is South Africa where the original languages used were English, isiKhosa, Sepedi, Setswana and isiZulu. The, show, which premiered on Canal Plus in April 2020, is currently at 4 seasons and 90 episodes. Here are the Queen Actors and Their Real Names 2020:

1. Harriet Khoza – Connie Ferguson

Connie Ferguson is the main character of The Queen in all the 4 seasons, playing Harriet, who is the wife of a drug lord. Connie Ferguson, 49, married Shona Ferguson in 2001 after her divorce with Neo Matsunyane in 1998.

2. Captain Jerry Maake – Shona Ferguson

Shona Ferguson is the main character in all the 4 seasons, playing the role of Jerry Maake, who is a police officer. Shona Ferguson was born on 30th April, 1972 in Botswana. He is currently 48 years old. Shona Ferguson is currently married to Connie Ferguson.

3. Brutus Khoza -Themba Ndaba

Brutus is the main character in all the 4 seasons of The Queen. Themba Ndaba is currently 55 years old.

Loyiso MacDonald is a 33-year old celebrated South-African artist that is best known for playing the role of Kagiso Khoza in The Queen. He was married to Mathunzi MacDonald but their marriage hit rock bottom.

10. Amogelang ‘Amo’ Maake – Natasha Thahane

Natasha Thahane is a celebrated South African actress that has been a cast in The Queen, Lockdown and Skeem Saam among others. She played the role of Amo in The Queen. Rami Chuene was born in Seshego-B in Polokwane, South Africa. She was married to Tsepo Desando before they got divorced, which according to her was the best decision ever. She exited the Queen on February 2020 after playing Gracious on the show.

13. Diamond Mabuza-Zolisa Xaluva

Zolisa Xaluva is a 38-year-old South-African actor that is best known for playing the role of Jason on Generations and that of Lwazi in Tsha Tsha. He is Diamond in The Queen.

14. Patronella Zulu – Thembsie Matu

Thembsie plays the role of Patronella in The Queen. She has been in the acting industry for 32 years now. In late 2019, Thembsie had a depressing moment when she found her husband Peter Sebotsa’s lifeless body face down in a pool.
