Vusi Thembekwayo is a young world prominent thought- provoking South African business mogul, global speaker, business leader, venture capitalist and entrepreneur who works towards solving economic issues in Africa. He is widely known as one of the ‘Dragons’ in the South African version of ‘Dragons Den’. He influences over 350 million in the seven organizations he holds shares in.

After refusing to go to University, he decided to find a job so as to be able to fend for himself and for his loved ones. He was able to find an agency that was dedicated towards helping unemployed South Africans find jobs overseas. He became the number 1 motivational speaker in Africa at the tender age of 17. This made him known far and wide as an entrepreneur and that is how his name grew.

In 2010, he became the director of Metcash Group. He was able to score the highest EDITDA in the entire Metcash Group. Thembekwayo now runs his own company known as Global Professional South Africa. Furthermore, he is the current CEO of a boutique investment and advisory firm in Africa.

He created his own company known as Global Professional SA. His vision 2030 is to be able to create 300 sustainable black businesses. This is meant to be achieved by discovering and caring for high- growth African- American entrepreneurs through funding, incubation, development platforms as well as business development.

Vusi recently came up with MyGrowthFund where he recently launched a mentorship program known as #Top40 that looks into enabling 40high- growth companies to expand their businesses and move to higher grounds. He does this by funding 1 Million Rands through a 1and a half year mentorship program.
